The 5th International Aged Puerh Appreciation Party

The 5th International Aged Puerh Appreciation Party was the first-ever Puerh event that was hosted outside Asia Hou De Asian Art and Fine Tea had the great honor and pleasure of co-hosting such a monumental event with WuShing Publishing company, Taiwan.

The event was decided to be hosted at Pacific Asia Museum of Pasadena, CA, US.

The goal of this event was to encourage the understanding and to promote interest in Puerh to US consumers.

We had about 45 people attend this event. While mostly from California, there were people who flew from as far as Seattle, New Mexico and even Canada to join us.

The event was started at 1:30pm with a speech by the famous Puerh expert and author, Mr. Chen Chi Tong, on the subject of Puerh history from the 50's to 2000.
